Lindsay Raynard

Lindsay Raynard (she/her) is a writer and editor based in North Vancouver, BC. With a background in marketing, culinary consulting and traditional publishing, she has spent the past decade creating and fine-tuning content with a focus on food and travel.

She helped create dozens of award-winning cookbooks in a role with Appetite, the Vancouver-based food and lifestyle imprint of Penguin Random House Canada. Editorial work in the culinary consulting space saw her support Vancouver restaurants and food entrepreneurs as well as international clients in the UK, New Zealand and Cyprus.

As an independent professional she has been engaged by universities, cultural organizations, retail brands and publishers. She is currently a content specialist on the marketing team at Vancouver International Airport.

Lindsay is an occasional speaker on topics relating to publishing and cookbook production for local post-secondary institutions and libraries. She has spent the past three years reading submissions for PRISM International, Western Canada’s oldest literary magazine.

She believes in shopping local (frequent trips to Granville Island), travelling often, eating chocolate daily and reading at least two books at a time.

When she’s not working, find Lindsay enjoying Vancouver’s botanical gardens, bakeries and tea salons, or online at lindsayvermeulen.ca and @lindsayraynard, where she documents her encounters with the beautiful and the delicious.
