Originally from Alberta, Vicki moved to Vancouver, BC more than a decade ago to pursue post-secondary education and was instantly charmed by the mountains and ocean. She launched a blog to share her discoveries and what began as a personal hobby blog quickly grew into a side hustle, and now a career dedicated to celebrating the best of Vancouver.

Vicki is a Vancouver-based journalist and contributor for outlets including Destination Vancouver, with a knack for uncovering the IYKYK side of Vancouver. Her stories highlight not only the businesses shaping Metro Vancouver, but also the people behind them, giving readers a closer look at the community that makes the city special.

Her ideal Vancouverite day involves sipping a matcha latte, browsing local boutiques (with a soft spot for ceramics and stationery), sampling bites from neighbourhood gems, and ending the night at one of Vancouver's many comedy venues.
