Ella Shoub

Ella Shoub is a storyteller whose love for pop culture, obsession with West Coast sushi, and steady stream of lattes from Main Street fuel her writing. Originally from Toronto, she now calls Vancouver, BC home, where her favourite pastimes include wandering through neighbourhoods and admiring the city’s colourful houses, moments that often spark her creativity.

You probably won’t find Ella hiking the Grouse Grind, but there’s a good chance she’ll be at Jericho Beach with a celebrity memoir in hand, listening to the ocean breeze carry through her headphones.

Armed with a Creative Writing degree from UBC, Ella’s work spans dinner and drink recommendations, discovering the best neighbourhoods for boutique shopping, and, occasionally, diving into Real Housewives recaps on Substack.
