Vancouver has a strong shopping scene, from homegrown names like Aritzia and Arc’teryx, to Lululemon, and Herschel; you can find them in shopping neighbourhoods across the city. While boutique streets and local shops are part of what makes Vancouver unique, Vancouver shopping malls make discovering the latest finds fun, and easy to fit into your day.

Where to Go For Big-Name Brands and Indoor Shopping

Downtown Vancouver

CF Pacific Centre

Right along West Georgia Street, CF Pacific Centre is your starting point for shopping while exploring downtown Vancouver. Close to major hotels, the Vancouver Convention Centre, and the cruise terminal, it’s a natural fit for a day of sightseeing. Inside, the mall has a modern, polished feel, with a mix of high-end retailers, familiar fashion brands, and quick food options for a downtown shopping break.

Best for: Downtown shopping, luxury retailers, and a quick indoor stop between sightseeing spots like Stanley Park, Robson St, and the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Transit access: The mall has direct indoor connections to SkyTrain lines and is close to Vancouver City Centre Station.

Typical hours: Monday to Wednesday, 10 am to 7 pm; Thursday to Friday, 10 am to 9 pm; Saturday, 10 am to 8 pm; Sunday and statutory holidays, 11 am to 7 pm.

Oakridge

Oakridge Park

Oakridge Park is bringing a new kind of shopping experience to West 41st Avenue and Cambie Street. Formerly Oakridge Centre, the newly opened destination combines luxury shopping, dining, public spaces, and a new park experience. Expect names like Louis Vuitton, Prada, Miu Miu, Canada Goose, Harry Rosen, Longchamp, and Brunello Cucinelli, with more shops, restaurants, and places to linger continuing to open as the district grows.

Best for: Luxury shopping, new restaurants, and a fresh new Vancouver shopping experience

Transit access: Oakridge Park is right beside Oakridge-41st Avenue Station and can be accessed on the Canada line.

Typical hours: Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 9 pm; Sunday and statutory holidays, 11 am to 7 pm.

West Vancouver

Park Royal Shopping Center

This West Vancouver shopping centre offers a relaxed West Coast take on a shopping day. Just about 10 minutes from downtown Vancouver by car, Park Royal is split between indoor shops and open-air walkways. Visitors can move between local favourites and big-name brands like Simons, Arc'teryx, Aritzia, Lululemon, and Sephora with plenty of fresh air between stops. After a long shopping day, relax at Argitano Cafe or for dinner at Cactus Club.

Best for: Open-air walkways, brand name shops, and for the great Vancouver hiking trails such as Ambleside Park, the Seawall, or the North Shore Mountains.

Transit access: Accessible by bus from downtown Vancouver and across the North Shore.

Typical hours: Monday to Wednesday, 10 am to 7 pm; Thursday to Friday, 10 am to 9 pm; Saturday, 10 am to 8 pm; Sunday, 10 am to 6 pm.

Richmond

Mcarthur Glenn Mall

The Mcarthur Glenn designer outlet mall is one of the top outdoor outlet malls with all of the best designer shopping in Richmond. Located just before Vancouver International Airport, it makes for a quick stop for a little retail therapy before or after a flight. Its chic village-style layout and outdoor walkways make it a stylish Vancouver shopping mall for finding great deals just outside the city centre. It's one of our favourite places to check out that are easy to reach on transit, too.

Best for: Outlet shopping, designer deals, airport layovers

Transit access: Take the Canada Line to Templeton Station, located right by the outlet.

Typical hours: Daily, 10 am to 9 pm.

Aberdeen Center

Aberdeen Centre in Richmond is great for shopping specialty finds, especially if you want to explore Asian retail. Located in Richmond’s Golden Village, the three-level mall features shops like Oomomo, H-Mart, St. Germain Bakery, and Uncle Tetsu alongside trendy fashion, beauty stores, and jewelry shops. Stop by the musical fountain in the central atrium for their lively fountain show before continuing on your Richmond shopping day.

Best for: Asian retail, Richmond food stops, specialty shopping, bubble tea, and casual eats.

Transit access: Very easy. Take the Canada Line to Aberdeen Station.

Typical hours: Monday to Thursday, 11 am to 7 pm; Friday and Saturday, 11 am to 8 pm; Sunday and public holidays, 11 am to 7 pm.

CF Richmond Centre

The CF Richmond Centre sits right by Richmond-Brighouse Station on the Canada Line, making it an easy stop for big-name shopping outside downtown Vancouver. Inside, visitors can browse their favourites like Zara, Aritzia, Apple, MUJI, Lululemon, and Sephora. The mall also has a large Dining Terrace, casual restaurants like Earls, and plenty of parking for those arriving by car.

Best for: Big-name brands, Richmond shopping, transit-friendly mall access, and casual dining.

Transit access: Take the Canada Line to Richmond-Brighouse Station, located right by the mall.

Typical hours: Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 9 pm; Sunday, 11 am to 7 pm.

Burnaby

Metrotown Mall

Metropolis at Metrotown Mall is one of the largest shopping malls in Metro Vancouver, and it's your one-stop shop for all your shopping essentials. Located in Burnaby with direct SkyTrain access, the mall has a wide mix of big-name brands, everyday retailers, beauty stores, tech shops, and a large food court for easy breaks between shopping.There's also jelly bean park, an indoor kids play area as well as a cineplex for more family friendly activities.

Best for: Big shopping days, major brands, food court options, and family-friendly indoor activities.

Transit access: Very easy. Take the SkyTrain to Metrotown Station, which connects directly to the mall area.

Typical hours: Monday to Saturday, 10 am to 9 pm; Sunday, 11 am to 7 pm.

The Amazing Brentwood Mall

For another standout addition to the Vancouver shopping mall list, The Amazing Brentwood Mall brings together shops, restaurants, entertainment, public plazas, and rotating events, giving it a neighbourhood-hub feel beyond a typical mall visit. While the larger mixed-use district is still growing, visitors can already explore plenty of shopping, dining, and entertainment in an easy SkyTrain-connected setting outside downtown Vancouver. Once you are done browsing, stick around for a bite at La Taqueria, a movie at Cineplex VIP, or games and entertainment at The Rec Room.

Best for: Restaurants, social outings, entertainment, and a SkyTrain-connected Burnaby shopping stop.

Transit access: Take the SkyTrain Millennium Line to Brentwood Town Centre Station.
