Where Can You Learn Lino Printing in Vancouver?

Wander around Granville Island, and you’ll come across an abundance of studios, filled with talented artists busily sculpting, painting and drawing. Bijal Patel is one of them, a local artist who uses mixed media, painting, and ink to express her feelings in bold, multicoloured lines and swirls.

Patel invites students into her working studio for art classes on lino printing, which involves carving into a linoleum block. Patel will guide you in coming up with your own unique image, carving it, and then rolling on ink to transfer your design, almost magically, onto paper.

Every participant will leave with prints in bright colours to make their own spaces beautiful. Check out her Instagram for class announcements.
