VeloSpoke Bike Expo (Sep 6)

Calling all cyclists – get ready to see the latest and greatest in cycling gear and technology! The VeloSpoke Bike Expo is back in Vancouver, featuring over 60,000 sq.ft. of exhibitors, displays and live activations. Velospoke connects exhibitors with RBC GranFondo participants and keen cycling enthusiasts–whether you are just picking up your event package for RBC Gran Fondo Whistler, or keen to discover the latest in bike gear, cycling technology, products and services from industry experts and lifestyle professionals, VeloSpoke has plenty to offer.

RBC Gran Fondo Whistler (Sep 7)

RBC Gran Fondo Whistler It’s a ride like no other. From leafy Stanley Park, Vancouver, riders cross the iconic Lions Gate bridge to travel along the world-famous, beautiful Sea-to-Sky highway as it dips itself in the Pacific ocean before rising slowly up to the lofty perch of Whistler. Participants are fully supported the whole way with plentiful rest stops and rolling mechanics, before coming together to celebrate with a huge party in Whistler. More info can be found here.

FriYAY Yoga (Sep 13)

Vancouver Cheese & Meat Festival (Sep 14)

The Cheese and Meat Festival allows consumers to taste their way through international and local artisan food and liquor samples. The Festival takes place at the beautiful Roundhouse located in downtown Vancouver. All attendees will be given a small charcuterie board upon entry that will allow for samples to be placed on the board while vendors describe the item being showcased. Terry Fox Run (Sep 15)

A beloved Canada-wide event, the Terry Fox Run is an annual event of locally organized runs across the country that help to raise money and awareness for cancer research. The runs are a legacy to Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope which took place in 1980 with the simple objective of informing Canadians of the importance of finding a cure for cancer. Ultra Night Run (Sep 20)

Experience the ultimate night run that combines your fit life with your fun life. Join Michelob ULTRA and Running Room as we light up the night on an ULTRA-lit course with neon lights to guide your way and live DJs to keep you moving. Bauhaus Pop-Up Dinner with Boris Lauser (Sep 26)

The German Consulate General in Vancouver has invited acclaimed Chef Boris Lauser to create a 5-course gourmet vegan menu, crafted with only purest seasonal ingredients shopped from local farmers. Held at Gastown’s Bauhaus Restaurant, the menu will feature vegan mozzarella salad, smoked beetroot carpaccio, black bean tempeh, wild rice risotto, and probiotic berry cheesecake. Goat Yoga (Sundays Sep-Oct)

Held at Maplewood Farm in North Vancouver (a short drive or quick trip via Seabus and bus from Vancouver), this will be an experience you’ll definitely want to Instagram about! Get ready to have a unique yoga class where social goats will join you for downward dog… errr goat.
