Vancouver comedy fans, get ready to laugh ‘til you cry! Western Canada’s biggest comedy festival, Just For Laughs Vancouver, is back for its milestone 10th anniversary celebration. This year’s festival will bring more than 250 top Canadian and international comedians to Vancouver for eleven days of pure hilarity, from February 12-22, 2026. If you’re on the hunt for the best comedy shows in Vancouver this winter, you’ve come to the right place.

In true Just For Laughs Vancouver style, the lineup is stacked. From legendary trailblazers and storied performers to rising stars and digital comedy sensations, the roster is overflowing with talent. Also returning in 2026 is Best of the West, the annual comedy series featuring B.C’s best local comedy talent.

What is Just For Laughs Vancouver?

Just For Laughs Vancouver is Western Canada’s largest comedy festival. This year’s 11-day festival will feature dozens of top comedians performing hundreds of shows across Vancouver. It’s a citywide celebration of laughter from start to finish. The Just For Laughs Vancouver lineup features a diverse mix of performers, including stand-up comics, podcasters, improv and sketch artists, and magicians from across Canada and around the globe.

Who is Headlining Just for Laughs Vancouver?

You can find the full festival lineup on the festival website, but here’s a closer look at some of the headliners hitting the stage this February:

James Acaster @ Orpheum - February 15th at 8:00 PM

James Acaster is a British comedian, writer, and podcaster who has earned global recognition for his distinctive comedic style. He’s best known for his stand-out Netflix special series Repertoire, often praised for its staggering originality. He’s written two books, “Classic Scrapes” and “Perfect Sound Whatever,” both of which landed on the Sunday Times bestseller list. His journey into the podcasting realm has also been a wild success, with his two shows often hitting the iTunes top 10 list. This February, he’ll be bringing his signature wit to Vancouver with a live performance at the historic Orpheum Theatre.

An Evening with Phil Rosenthal of “Somebody Feed Phil” @ Queen Elizabeth Theatre - February 21st at 4:00 PM

Phil Rosenthal is the award-winning creator, producer, and host of the wildly popular Netflix show, “Somebody Feed Phil.” This Emmy-nominated program is in its 8th season and is the network’s longest-running unscripted series. The show marries Rosenthal’s love for food and travel with his unique brand of comedy, and has earned him numerous awards, including the 2022 Critics’ Choice Real TV Award and “Best Travel/Adventure Show.” This February, fans can catch him live at Vancouver’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

Lucy Darling @ Vogue Theatre - February 14th at 3:30 PM and 6:30 PM

Calgary native Carisa Hendrix is the mind behind the larger-than-life magician and variety artist, Lucy Darling. Known for their theatrics, circus skills, and magic, Hendrix has been thrilling audiences around the globe for years with their unbelievable stunts and creative flair. They have even been featured in the Guinness Book of World Records and Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Audiences can experience the magic firsthand when Lucy Darling takes the stage at Vancouver’s iconic Vogue Theatre.

Nimesh Patel @ Vogue Theatre - February 21st at 7:00 PM

Named one of Variety’s prestigious “10 Comics to Watch” of 2023, Nimesh Patel has been cracking up audiences around the globe, starting with sold-out comedy clubs to major theatres. His specials have amassed millions of YouTube views, and his performances have earned him appearances on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” and “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

UpDating @ Vancouver Playhouse - February 19th at 7:00 PM

This critically-acclaimed live dating & comedy show brings two blindfolded singles up on-stage to go on a first date, all in front of a live audience. UpDating is a hilarious examination of the modern dating world, with plenty of audience participation and belly-laugh moments. The show is created, produced, and hosted by NYC-based comedians, Brandom Berman (@bermmy16) and Harrison Forman (@htformann). This February, UpDating will be live at the Vancouver Playhouse, giving local audiences a front-row seat to the chaos and comedy of modern romance.

Mary Beth Barone: Galaxy Brain Tour @ Vancouver Playhouse - February 15th @ 8:00 PM

Mary Beth Barone is a comedian, writer, and actor, most recently starring in the hit Amazon/A24 comedy series Overcompensating, where she also served as a writer. Her late-night stand-up debut was on none other than “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” She has headlined sold-out shows at New York Comedy Fest, Netflix Comedy Festival, and the Edinburgh Fringe. She’s also a co-host of the smash hit podcast “Ride” which she co-hosts with fellow Overcompensating star Benito Skinner.

Just For Laughs Vancouver continues to wow us for the 10th year in a row with an outstanding lineup, promising endless fun for all in attendance.
