Ladurée

Ladurée, infamous for its delectable macarons, opened its first location in Canada at 1141 Robson Street. The boutique includes a beautiful 16-seat Tea Salon that serves sweet and savoury delights like French Toast and Croque Monsieur. The grand opening in March was met with long line-ups that lasted for weeks.

Saje

Also in March, Saje expanded its 1085 Robson location by introducing the first Saje At Home concept store. The store focuses on all-natural products that keep your home, office and car healthy, fresh and toxins-free; including Saje’s top-selling range of stylish ultrasonic nebulizers, diffuser blends, candles, and room sprays.

Aritzia

Also expanding its footprint on Robson Street is Aritzia, adding an additional 4,600 sq. ft. of space, making it the largest flagship yet at 13,000 sq. ft. The West Coast store now prominently anchors the corner of Robson and Thurlow. Inside, the space is similar to a contemporary art gallery with lots of natural light and unique design elements, such as a raised indoor garden, marble slab wall, prototype merchandising fixtures, curated art pieces, and a gentle cast-in-place concrete ramp.

Eddie Bauer

Recreational lifestyle brand, Eddie Bauer, opened its first street-front location in Vancouver at 1150 Robson Street in May, replacing the former French Connection. In store, you’ll find Eddie Bauer’s in-house line of premium outerwear, apparel, and accessories, as well as high-performance sporting gear designed for hiking, travel, fishing, and more.

Summer is just around the corner and Robson Street will get another boost of activity with the addition of RYU at 805 Thurlow, a technical brand engineered for the training and performance of the multi-discipline athlete. Nike is returning to the street in the former Mexx space at 1119 Robson, which also happens to be directly across from its previous store. As well, the much-loved David’s Tea is opening up at 1024 Robson.
