Vancouver is a spectacular city, surrounded by mountains and ocean. You don't have to leave your hotel to enjoy stunning views from your bed, bathtub, or balcony.

If you're searching for hotels near Stanley Park, look no further than The Westin Bayshore, which has incredible views of the park, the ships in Coal Harbour, and the North Shore Mountains. Walk the Seawall around Stanley Park, relax by the pool in one of the hotel's cedar barrel saunas, and then finish the day by basking in the sunset views from your room.

The rooms at the Fairmont Pacific Rim have breathtaking views of Coal Harbour, Canada Place, and the North Shore Mountains. But the most relaxing way to enjoy the views is from a deep Japanese-style ofuro soaker tub. After your soak, head downstairs to enjoy a meal at Botanist. The menu showcases Pacific Northwest produce and seafood from local producers.

The Sheraton Wall Centre is located in Vancouver's second tallest building, so you can expect great views from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the guestrooms. The hotel sits in the centre of downtown and the city skyline spreads out around you. The central location is a few minutes walk to shopping on Robson Street or an afternoon of culture at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

The narrow inlet of False Creek separates downtown Vancouver from the neighbourhoods to the south. This finger of the ocean is busy with water taxis, paddleboards, and pleasurecraft flitting back and forth while locals jog and cycle around the seawall that runs around its perimeter. Get a bird's eye view of it all from a suite at the JW Marriott Parq Vancouver. Head down to ground level to stroll along the water or next door to the stadiums to take in a Canucks hockey game, Whitecaps soccer game, or BC Lions football game.

Granville Island is one of Vancouver's most vibrant neighbourhoods. The old industrial site is now home to artisan boutiques, artist studios, and the famous Granville Island Public Market which boasts food from around the world. Stay right in the thick of it at the boutique Granville Island Hotel. It has great views of the glass towers of downtown Vancouver on the other side of False Creek.

If you want a panoramic view of Vancouver's skyline, head to the Pinnacle Hotel at the Pier in North Vancouver. The entire city is spread out in front of you across Burrard Inlet. Explore the shops in the Shipyards District and nearby Lonsdale Quay. Or follow the North Shore Spirit Trail along the water and through the forest on foot or on a bike. And it's easy to get to downtown Vancouver via the scenic Seabus ferry.
