By far, Yaletown is one of Vancouver’s trendiest neighborhoods – a district that’s filled with great restaurants and bars, shopping and entertainment, and gorgeous views. Here’s our list of our favourite attractions.

11. Bike the Seawall
With plenty of bike rental shops lining Davie, there’s no shortage of wheels if you fancy going for a picturesque spin along the Seawall.

10. Get Healthy
Yes, Yaletown is a great neighborhood to indulge in some of your vices but it’s also health and fitness central and those two things are nothing but good for you. (Or so they say.) Drop into a yoga class, get into gear at spin, and juice up at one of the many health shops like Chasers Fresh Juice on Mainland!

9. Take a Ferry to Granville Island
One of the city’s busiest and most cultural and colorful districts is just a short ferry ride away from Yaletown! Hop on board one of the water taxis at Yaletown Marina and Dock and sail the not-so-high seas to Granville Island! The closer you get to Granville Island, the more stunning the backdrop of downtown Vancouver.

8. Engage Your Taste Buds
This hood is just brimming with great restaurants. From oyster and seafood bars, to exceptional Italian restaurants and steakhouses, the options are abundant. Treat yourself – your taste buds will thank you.

7. Go Off-Leash at Cooper’s Park
One thing we love a lot about Yaletown is that it’s super-dog friendly! (Luckily for us, so is pretty much the entire city.) Don’t leave your fur-baby out of the fun! Bring him or her along for the adventure and let them spend some quality time mingling with other dogs at Cooper’s Park. Endless tail-wagging guaranteed.

6. Get Pampered
Not just for the ladies, there are shops after shops to take care of all womanly and gentlemanly beauty and grooming desires. Hair and nail Salons, barbershops, massage parlours, wax bars, lash extensions – find it all and rest assured you’re in some of the best hands.

5. Visit Yaletown Roundhouse
The Yaletown Roundhouse Community Arts and Recreation Centre encapsulates a core part of not only this neighborhood but also BC’S history in its beautiful industrial building. Back in the day, the building’s function was to house and fix steam locomotives. Today, Roundhouse is home to Engine 374, the first transcontinental train to bring passengers into the city, as well as regular community events including arts and theatre.

4. Shop Boutiques
Whether you’re window-shopping or looking to take a cue from Cher in Clueless, Yaletown has a great selection of independent boutiques with pieces you’ll only be able to find in, well, Yaletown.

3. Take in the Yachts at Marinaside
And dream about one day having your own luxury cruiser!

2. Patio Hop
The patios can get pretty packed after work hours and on weekends – especially on a sunny day! Always lively, always a good time.

1. Picnic at David Lam Park
Grab some picnic-approved eats at the local Urban Fare and settle down and relax on the turf at David Lam Park with some of the most captivating views of False Creek.
