Walk, Run, or Bike on the Fort to Fort Trail

This scenic four-kilometre-long route along the banks of the Fraser River connects Fort Langley National Historic Site with the site of the original Fort Langley near Derby Reach Regional Park. The flat gravel paths are part of the Trans Canada Trail that stretches across our nation.

Get Your Heart Pumping at Penzer Action Park

Penzer Action Park is a great destination for extreme sports junkies. There’s a BMX-style dirt jump area, a paved pump track, a skateboard park, an in-ground trampoline, and a dedicated parkour course.

Step Back in Time at Fort Langley National Historic Site

This huge historic site is a re-creation of the original Hudson’s Bay Company fur trading post. It includes 10 buildings surrounded by wooden palisades. There are lots of interactive activities including gold panning, costumed storytellers, and live demonstrations.

Explore Breweries By Bike

If you’re into craft beer, don’t miss the cluster of craft breweries in Langley. Use our step-by-step guide to spend an afternoon biking between tasting rooms. The 12-kilometre route visits six different breweries.

Shop at the Farmers’ Market

Head to the Fort Langley Village Farmers’ Market to sample fresh food from local BC farmers. They also have baked goods, pickles, preserves, food trucks, and lots of artisans selling paintings, crafts and more. The market runs every Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. until December 3.

Play Disc Golf

Opened in 2019 and built by volunteers, Raptor’s Knoll Disc Golf Park was recently named one of the best disc golf courses in the world. The championship-level course has multiple tees at each hole to accommodate both beginners and experts.

Go Bird Watching at Campbell Valley Regional Park

With several different habitats including forests, grasslands, and wetlands, Campbell Valley Regional Park attracts many bird species. The Little River Loop trail is a great place to start. It heads through the forest and follows the riverbank on a series of boardwalks. Watch for songbirds in the reeds, ducks bobbing in the water, and raptors soaring overhead.

Visit a Farm

Langley’s rural areas are home to several farms you can visit, each selling unique local goods and produce. Check opening hours before you go as they vary throughout the season. Sample the cheese and visit the adorable goats at Milner Valley Cheese. Aldor Acres is known for their pumpkin patch, Christmas trees, and baby animals at Easter. Eagle Acres Dairy has a pumpkin patch and educational farm. Visit the alpacas at Kensington Prairie Farm. For everything berries, head to Driediger Farms or Falconglen Organic Farms in the summer months. Don’t miss the flowers in June and July at Full Bloom Lavender Farm.
