Moltaqa, Arabic for "gathering place," is Vancouver's only Michelin Guide Recommended Moroccan restaurant and a leading halal restaurant in the heart of Yaletown. It won the Vancouver Magazine Gold Award in both 2025 and 2026. The fully halal kitchen serves slow-cooked tagines, hand-rolled couscous and house-made Moroccan breads, with dedicated vegan and gluten-free options. Brunch is served daily from 11:30 AM. Evenings are when Moltaqa comes alive. The bar serves Moroccan-inspired cocktails, alcohol-free mocktails, BC and international wines, and fresh-pressed juices. On Friday nights at 9:00 PM and Saturday nights at 8:30 PM, live belly dance performances turn dinner into a full night out, one that suits halal dining and cocktail lovers alike.
