Overview
It is a clothing-optional beach located in Pacific Spirit Regional Park, which is in turn part of the University Endowment Lands. It is Canada's only legally-recognised nudist beach. This was made official in 1991 when the Greater Vancouver Regional District recognised it as a clothing-optional beach.
