Overview

The Woodward’s Building is is an historic building originally constructed in 1903 for the Woodward’s Department Store, when this area of the city was its main retail shopping district. Woodward’s Department Store pioneered the concept of one-stop-shopping in North America. It is now home to the Goldcorp Centre of the Arts, a space for cultural arts including music, dance, theatre and film.
