7 Sunset Worthy Spots in Vancouver

On Top of a Mountain
Sunsets always look more spectacular when you’re up high. If you want to get a view of the city, head to a local mountain and catch the last rays of the sun as the glimmer off Downtown’s buildings.
West End
A whole host of beachy sunset choices will greet you at the West End‘s English Bay; Third Beach, Second Beach, English Bay Beach, and the aptly-named Sunset Beach. Grab a blanket and settle down on a socially distanced patch of sand or grass, and enjoy the beautiful view.
Kitsilano
Much like the West End, Kitsilano has several beach spots where you can set-up and watch the sun kiss the mountains. Jericho Beach and Spanish Banks are nice for quietly soaking up the last of the suns rays, while Kitsilano Beach is the place to go to if you’re not into sitting still.
Queen Elizabeth Park
If you want to get above Vancouver without having to go up a mountain, look no further than Queen Elizabeth Park. The park is the perfect spot to end a summer’s day after exploring mount pleasant and the surrounding area. This hill, in the middle of the city, provides fantastic views of Vancouver, the surrounding mountains, and False Creek. Once the sky starts changing, the lights of the city start flickering and make for a magical view.
Stanley Park
The world-famous Stanley Park is one of Vancouver’s gems. There’s so much to do in the park; from horse-drawn tours to bike rides and rainforest trails, beaches to the seawall, Stanley Park Brewing to The Tea House Restaurant. Ok, so this technically isn’t quite sunset, but the city, mountain and ocean panorama is unparalleled and makes for a true splurge-worthy Vancouver experience. When the golden hour is upon you, the Harbour Air terminal makes for a spectacular sunset viewing spot.
