Everyone, December is officially here, and winter is in full tilt (according to mother nature)! If there’s something we can always expect from the holiday season, it’s to fall completely out of routine. With holiday parties, endless feasting, and desserts everywhere you look, it can be pretty easy to give in to any indulgence. Though all those sweet indulgences are worth it in the moment, come January 1st many of us are seeking out a cleanse or diving into a heath kick. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if you’re trying to lead a heathy lifestyle, you could not pick a better place than Vancouver! Vancouver has an incredible amount of resources and restaurants to take advantage of during your pre or post holiday detox (or just any day of the week).

For me, nothing makes me feel better than a cold, fresh juice. Something about a brightly coloured, vitamin-filled drink that makes me feel like I’m doing something right. So, if you’d like to join me in enjoying one of Vancouver’s finest juices, here are five outstanding places to do so:

Glory Juice Co.

Six bottles of Glory Juice Co. cold-pressed juices in various colors with ingredient lists on white labels.

This juicer’s go-to has locations in Olympic Village, Kits, and two more coming soon (one in North Van and one downtown). While your grabbing your juice, I’d highly suggest grabbing a bite to eat because their bowls are next level!

Radicle Juice

White bowl with smoothie topped with banana slices, red berries, seeds, and granola on a wooden table with a jar of red juice.

If you’re ever feeling a little grey, these fresh juices and bowls will have you back to normal in no time. If you’re looking for a healthy dose of vitamins, you can’t go wrong with Radicle Juice.

Commodity Juicery

Collage of six images showing green juice in a glass, green smoothie in a plastic cup with straw, red juice in a glass, orange juice in a glass, four round chocolate cookies with red centers on a white tray, and orange smoothie in a plastic cup with straw.

This Fraser Street hot-spot is just about to open their second location downtown, and boy is downtown lucky. They’ve got a cold-pressed juice for you to enjoy no matter the circumstance. From high blood pressure to inflammation, they’ve got a juice to give you a helping hand.

Leafy Box

Bottles of cold-pressed juice on a wooden surface, including Refreshing Watermelon, Spicy Greens, and other flavors.

These raw, cold-pressed juices and juice cleanses are some of Vancouver’s finest. You can get the standard “Essential Greens” or take a risk and try out the “Funky Mint,” either way, you really can’t go wrong.

The People’s Juicery

Two bottles of juice labeled 'the people's juicery organic raw cold pressed' held over green leaves, one bottle is pink and the other is green.

If you’re interested in getting your juice fix while strolling about Yaletown, don’t you worry, The People’s Juicery could not be a better choice. Their organic bottled juices are the tastiest dose of vitamins you’ll ever encounter.

Whether you’re feeling great or not feeling so hot, there’s always room for a delicious fresh juice. There are nothing but delicious juices to be had in this city, this is just the tip of the iceberg. If you’ve got a favourite juice bar, please share!
