During a year when many holiday traditions have had to be suspended, the Vancouver Aquarium is bringing back their most festive event – in a new, virtual format.

The Vancouver Aquarium welcomes kids of all ages for a virtual holiday Scuba Claus show premiering on Sunday, December 20th at 11 am!

Featuring Scuba Claus himself, as well as many of the Vancouver Aquarium’s most beloved animals, viewers will help save Christmas by diving underwater with Scuba Claus in search of the missing key to Santa’s toy cupboard.

Tickets to the virtual event cost $9.99 per household and support the Vancouver Aquarium. Full details can be found at VanAqua.org/ScubaClaus.

This new take on the Vancouver Aquarium’s holiday classic has been produced in collaboration with students and faculty of BCIT’s Television and Video Production Program who generously volunteered their time and expertise to support the Aquarium and spread joy this holiday season.

During the approximately 30-minute show, viewers at home will get to visit with aquatic friends, including the Vancouver Aquarium’s African penguins, a famous rescued sea otter named Joey, a gentle sea lion and more.

The December 20th premier also includes a live chat with Vancouver Aquarium staff. And great prizes are up from grabs from the Vancouver Aquarium Gift Shop.

Whether you’ve been naughty or nice, all are invited to join the Vancouver Aquarium for this new take on a favourite holiday tradition.
