Give your kids a taste of the farm life with a day of family fun at Krause Berry Farms. Only a 40-minute drive from downtown Vancouver, this family-run destination farm is the perfect place to experience the country without having to hop on a plane to venture from the city to a rural spot.

Featuring an expansive country store, a wide selection of home-baked sweets, and a plethora of places to play, you’ll want to make a day of your visit. Here are just some of the things you’ll want to do at Krause Berry Farms.

Outdoor garden seating area with wooden tables and chairs surrounded by green plants and flowers under a clear blue sky.

Enjoy a stroll through the flower garden near the farm’s entrance, and for only $10, you can pick a bunch of blooms to bring home. Visit the farm’s crop watch page for a complete listing of the variety of berries and flowers on display during your planned visit.

Grocery display with various vegetables including onions, tomatoes, peppers, and pickling cucumbers on wooden shelves against a yellow wall.

Meander through the market and satisfy your sweet tooth with freshly-made icing-topped doughnuts or sky-high berry pies, or pick up some freshly-picked produce grown steps from the market’s door. Browse through the eclectic garden-themed goodies, and take home a memento from your visit.

Designed as a place to play as a family, the newly-developed Fresh Family Fun Field will teach your kids about farm facts in a fun and interactive way. Go head-to-head in a life-sized, berry-themed game of Guess Who, channel your inner child and enjoy a round of tether (berry) ball, or go for a bounce on the giant jumping pads.

Don’t leave the family fun play area without taking a spin on Farmer Alf’s Tractor Training Field, where you and your little ones can test your tractor skills by pedalling around the winding track.

Blue building with a porch, white fence, red flowers, and a large strawberry-shaped welcome sign on grass.

Cool off with a berry-filled cone, or lunch on a savoury corn pizza to satisfy your appetite after a full day of play. The Porch Restaurant offers a great range of Summer treats, or head to The KB Corral for some piping hot waffles topped with seasonal berries and whipped cream.

Bar interior with saddle stools lined up along the counter and a stone fireplace in the background.

Surrounded by 200 acres of freshly-grown berries, it just makes sense for the property to boast a winery, which features a wide range of award-winning berry wines. Pop in for a quick tasting and soak up the Western-themed decor in the cozy chic space, or plan your visit around a pre-booked wine-tasting experience which includes a cheese board and an educational (and entertaining) tasting tour of the diverse wine selections available. Bring the whole family – kids are welcome too!
