Britannia Mine Museum to Launch Theatrical Show “BOOM!” in Summer 2019

This summer, Britannia Mine Museum will bring its historic Mill No. 3 back to life with “BOOM!”, a live-action theatrical show packed with special effects.

The multisensory spectacle will transport visitors to the Roaring 20s when the Mine enjoyed status as one of the largest copper producers in the British Commonwealth. The show dives into the 20-storey building’s history of processing precious minerals from ore extracted from the mine, and showcases its central role to a community of more than 60,000 people who lived and worked there.

“BOOM!” is produced by Vista Collaborative Arts, which has collaborated on themed attractions around the world; and Dynamic Attractions, whose projects include rides at Universal Studios and Disneyland.
