Stay warm out there as we head toward winter concert season over the holidays and into the new year. Some of your favourite pop stars, Canadian musicians, and indie artists are hitting the road and coming to Vancouver on their various North American tours. Check out some of these choice concert dates and acts before tickets sell out.

The Beaches @ The Orpheum – Nov. 12

The Juno Award-winning all-female Ontario rockers visit Granville Street on their North American Blame My Ex Tour in support of their upcoming sophomore album of the same name. The band named themselves after the Toronto neighbourhood where they grew up.

Armin van Buuren @ PNE Forum – Nov. 17

Get ready to dance when the famed Dutch DJ and record producer comes to East Vancouver. Known for being a perfectionist, AvB is considered a flag-bearer of the trance movement and one of the most influential figures in EDM worldwide.

Depeche Mode @ Rogers Arena – Nov. 24

The British new wave band visit the West Coast after crisscrossing across Europe when they close out their Memento Mori World Tour in support of their forthcoming album of the same name. Formed in Essex in 1980, the English rockers are famous for melding together elements of electronic music with post-punk influences through their socially conscious lyrics.

The 1975 @ Rogers Arena – Nov. 29

Everyone’s favourite English pop rock back hits the road for 38 stops on their Still… at Their Very Best Tour. The four band members originally met and formed while attending Wilmslow High School in Cheshire.

Ocie Elliot @ The Orpheum – Dec. 2

The Victoria-based indie folk duo head to the mainland after a handful of U.S. dates on their North American tour before heading to Texas and across the South. They were also nominated for Breakthrough Group of the Year at the 2022 Juno Awards.

Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull & Ricky Martin @ Rogers Arena – Dec. 10 & 11

Three of the biggest names in Latin pop music join forces for The Trilogy Tour as co-headliners. Demand was so high for the trio here that they quickly added a second show to their tour’s grand finale in Vancouver.

Contact Winter Music Festival @ Vancouver Convention Centre – Dec. 27 & 28

Canada’s largest indoor music festival announced its two-day EDM lineup of DJs, producers, and artists, including Grammy Award-winning artist, DJ, and producer Zedd and Canadian industry trendsetter Rezz as its co-headliners.

JP Saxe @ Vogue Theatre – Jan. 21

The Toronto singer/songwriter makes his way to Downtown Vancouver with his catalogue of ballads after kicking off his tour in Alberta before heading to the States and across Europe in 2024.

Cold War Kids @ Vogue Theatre – Feb. 2

The Californian indie rockers are mapping out their 20 Years Tour across North America ahead of the release of their self-titled tenth album. The band hails from Long Beach after first meeting at Biola University and forming in 2004.

Madonna @ Rogers Arena – Feb. 21

The ageless pop music legend comes to town for the rescheduled North American leg of her The Celebration Tour. She’ll be “celebrating” four decades in music after first dropping out of college and moving to New York City to make it big with only $35 to her name in 1977.

Sam Roberts Band @ Commodore Ballroom – Feb. 24

After a five-year absence from the road, the Canadian singer/songwriter and his eponymous band embark on their 11-city The Adventures of Ben Blank Tour across North America.

William Prince @ The Orpheum – Feb. 24

The Winnipeg folk and country singer heads back to our home and native land after touring western Europe. A direct descendant of Chief Peguis, the second-generation musician got his start playing gigs with his father across northern Manitoba.
