2018 was a record year for Vancouver hosting city-wide conventions and events. The city, with the help of Tourism Vancouver and convention industry partners, hosted 36 citywide conventions and events, which brought in over 105,000 visitors. Here is a list of some unique meeting and event spaces in Vancouver:

This stylish Art Deco Venue hosts world-famous concerts and international corporate functions for up to 990. With state-of-the-art sound and lighting, the famous sprung dance floor and onsite catering services, and close proximity to all major hotels in the heart of downtown.

Guests can be entertained in a beautiful setting of two exquisitely designed indoor halls, perfect for meetings, receptions, dinners, presentations, launches, weddings, and receptions. For great outdoor entertainment, the adjacent courtyards provide the perfect stage, set against the wonderfully inspiring nature of a traditional Chinese garden.

Located in the heart of the revitalized Shipyards District of Vancouver’s North Shore, The Polygon Gallery is a spectacular event venue with views of the city skyline and a clean, contemporary design. Minutes from downtown Vancouver, this unparalleled space can accommodate groups from 20 to 200 for seated dinners and is able to welcome up to 600 guests throughout the building for stand-up receptions (without artwork installed).

Secret Location is a destination concept store in the heart of Gastown and is an inspiring place of sartorial creativity and intellectual expression specializing in designer clothing for men and women. The space can hold up to 100 guests at a standing-room-only event.

Nestled amidst the famous Stanley Park Rose Gardens, the Stanley Park Pavilion is Vancouver's preeminent wedding and banqueting venue. The Lord Stanley Ballroom can accommodate up to 230 standing guests.

The Vancouver Rowing Club is located in Stanley Park, with a view of Coal Harbour, the Vancouver Rowing Club is the perfect location for seminars, business retreats, lunches, weddings, cocktail receptions, or gala dinners. This heritage building was opened in 1911 and still maintains its original character.

From Canada’s largest collection of Emily Carr’s work to ever-changing world-class exhibitions in a stunning neo-classical heritage building, the Vancouver Art Gallery offers one of the city’s top cultural experiences. The Barrel Room at Tap & Barrel Convention Centre is a private waterfront room conveniently located in downtown Vancouver. The venue offers unobstructed views of the Burrard Inlet and North Shore mountains. Choose from Family Style or Canapé event menus and then sit back and let Tap & Barrel’s team handle the rest. The space can host up to 60 guests for cocktail-style events and full restaurant buy-outs are available for larger groups.
