Film fans, take note: Sunset Cinema, the free outdoor movie series guaranteed to liven up date night, family time or BFF hangouts, will once again be hosted at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre plaza on select nights throughout summer.

Four hit movies – classics and blockbusters alike – will be shown on a massive inflatable screen under the stars. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, pillows, snacks, four-legged companions and any other creature comforts, and arrive before 8.30pm to secure seating and catch the preshow festivities. All shows begin at 9.30pm.

In addition to the outdoor movie series, Vancouver Civic Theatres will host free community events on the plaza throughout summer, including the Thursday Farmers Market, “Summer Sounds” pop-up concert series, Classic Car Show and Shine and more.
