Groove to Vancouver's Summer Music Festivals in July

Spend the summer at one of Vancouver’s many big summer music festivals! Throughout July, there are some top-notch outdoor music lineups that showcase the city’s diversity of musical experiences, from folk to indie rock and EDM at the park or beach. Take the whole family out to one of these great experiences (many of them free) featuring local and global talent.
FVDED in the Park @ Holland Park – July 4-5
Surrey’s outdoor EDM festival boasts headliners Tiësto, Zedd, and Montreal DJ Kaytranada alongside over 50 other artists for its multi-stage annual event showcasing the best in Canadian and international dance music acts.
Khatsahlano Street Party @ West 4th – July 5
Kitsilano's biggest event returns with a massive lineup of local bands, food trucks, and community energy. Its programming of free live music featuring over 60 performances is showing off the best of BC's vibrant indie music scene, including Meltt, Joe Keithley, Ché Aimee Dorval, and more.
Opera in the Park @ Deer Lake Park – July 13
Prepare for VSO's evening of duets, arias, and timeless music for a free and family-friendly outdoor activity. Enjoy classic music and highlights from Verdi, Mozart, and Puccini's greatest works performed live in Burnaby.
Vancouver Folk Music Festival @ Jericho Beach Park – July 18-20
Gather to enjoy some incredible solo artists and music groups from across Canada and around the world performing live on the scenic beach over three nights. Get excited for artists like Vancouver’s own Haram, New Yorker Margaret Glaspy, North Carolina duo Watchouse, and many more.
Truck Stop Concert Series @ Red Truck Beer – July 19
For its ninth year, the backyard concert series is bigger than ever. Kick back with beer, burgers, and bands when Nashville country group Lanco headlines the concert alongside openers Zachariah & The Lobos Riders and Dawson Gray.
Vancouver Pride Festival @ Sunset Beach – July 26–Aug. 3
Get ready for the biggest LGBTQIA2+ celebration of the year with DJ sets, drag shows, and dance parties happening all week long. Stay tuned for more announcements about entertainment and programming leading up to the big annual Sunday parade.
