2019 has been a big year for conferences in Vancouver so far. Here is a round-up of some exciting upcoming conferences this fall:

World Sleep Congress

World Sleep 2019 is a full scientific congress on sleep medicine and research. Sleep professionals from more than 75 countries come together to advance sleep health worldwide. The congress will feature the most current, world-class scientific content in the field of sleep and medicine research.

The Extraordinary Future conference drives innovation in Canada by connecting technology companies with capital. The conference covers today’s most important developments and disruptive headlines in Science, technology, and culture so investors can position themselves accordingly.

SHUX 2019
October 4 – 6
Vancouver Convention Centre East

SHUX 2019, returning to Vancouver for the second year in a row, celebrates board games and board game culture. The conference includes stage shows, social games, special events, and more. Attendees are also able to meet board game designers, reviewers, and entertainers.

Ecocity World Summit 2019

Family Medicine Forum 2019

Family Medicine Forum (FMF) is Canada’s largest and most comprehensive annual conference for family physicians and is hosted by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC). FMF focuses on providing four energizing days of practical, cutting-edge, and thought-provoking educational opportunities. It features impressive daily keynote presentations and a vast array of continuing professional development (CPD) sessions designed specifically for family physicians, researchers, and teachers.

AAGL 2019 Global Congress on MIGS
November 9 – 13
Vancouver Convention Centre West

AAGL is the leading association promoting minimally invasive gynecologic surgery among surgeons worldwide. The first conference took place in 1972, and since, the congress gathers annually to share the latest in education, science, and technology that affect all aspects of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery. This year’s conference theme is “Be a Surgical “Multiplier” in MIGS – Inspire Brilliance Through Teamwork.” With this year’s theme, the SPC hopes to educate, motivate, and embolden attendees to become more effective through a partnership among worldwide colleagues, surgical teams, mentors/mentees, and industry partners.
