Massive, New Christmas Maze Coming to Vancouver in November
Now that summer is officially over, the countdown to Christmas can begin! Vancouver will be getting into the holiday spirit in a big way this year with the introduction of an exciting new seasonal activity.
Starting this November, Enchant 2016 will be bringing the world’s largest Christmas light maze to the Olympic Village area, combined with a bustling local vendor market, live performances, warming seasonal eats and drinks, an outdoor fire pit, and much more.
Enchant 2016 will be joining the Vancouver Chistmas Market (which will be relocating to Jack Poole Plaza) as a new holiday tradition for locals and visitors alike.

The Enchant 2016 Christmas market and maze will be located between the Cambie street Bridge and Olympic village, and will be open to guests of all ages.
But the highlight of the festival has got to be the maze, which will be created with hundreds of thousands of lights, towering reindeer, and a 64-foot tall tree in the middle of the maze with 85,000 LED lights.
Inspired by the corn mazes typically found in the outskirts of the Lower Mainland, the Christmas Maze will have guests navigating the brilliant lights to help find Santa’s nine missing reindeer, which have gotten lost in the maze.

The event is put together by SHINE, which is the group that also created the extremely popular Light Walk on Grouse Mountain.
Aside from the entertaining and amazing maze, there will be a Christmas market, food trucks, a 19+ area with buttered rum and eggnog, live music and entertainment, and a fire pit.
The event will be launching on November 24, 2016 and running daily until New Year’s Eve. Tickets to the event cost $20 for adults and $15 for kids.
