The family-feel-good Broadway musical based on the stories of P.L. Travers and the 1964 Walt Disney film returns to the Arts Club’s Stanley Theatre.

Catch it over the holiday season between now and January 1st, 2017, and discover why this classic tale of bossy-but-nice British nanny Mary Poppins always has a place in our hearts.

Actress Kayla James soars over London rooftops, can hide an entire rooms furniture in her carpet bag, and prefers to serve high tea up in the rafters – and that’s just a few reasons why we all love Ms. P.

Songs from the Disney film, like “A Spoonful of Sugar” and “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious,” will have you humming for a long time after. Don’t try to fight it – the songs will win.

Arts Club Artistic Managing Director and Mary Poppins director, Bill Millerd, says, “I’m delighted that Kayla James is stepping into the title role of Mary Poppins after performing as Annie and the Mary Poppins understudy in our 2014 production, and Milo Shandel plays the beloved and blustery George Banks.”
