Overview

Vancouver Indigenous Fashion Week is an extraordinary celebration of Indigenous creativity and culture.

For 2026 our inspiration is EARTH — honouring our relationship with the land, our responsibilities to it, and the people who continue to protect and care for it. Throughout VIFW, we’ll be joined by land protectors, artists, designers, community members, and special guests who will help bring these intentions to life.

Explore four days of fashion, art, and culture where tradition meets innovation. From striking streetwear to powerful regalia, every piece tells a story of identity, and future vision.

Night 1 - November 18: Red Dress Night
Dress in red to remember and celebrate Indigenous resilience and strength, and to honour our missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, LGBTQ+ and Two Spirit members of our communities.

Night 2 - November 19: All My Relations Couture
Traditional practices mix with contemporary aesthetics in magnificent pieces from emerging and established Indigenous designers.

Night 3 - November 20: Indigenous Futures
Indigenous Futurism features streetwear designs that advocate for Indigenous sovereignty. It is an evening of Indigenous artistic practice, contemporary storytelling, and pop culture.

Night 4 - November 21: Spirit of the West Coast
Celebrate designs with a signature West Coast spirit that highlights the uniqueness of this land and people
