Steveston Salmon Festival

The Steveston Salmon Festival returns for its 79th anniversary on July 1, 2026!

Celebrate “Canada’s biggest little birthday party” in Steveston! This year’s festival is all about community. Visitors will be treated to a show-stopping parade, live music, family-friendly activities and much more.

Foodies will want to try the iconic Salmon Bake — a savory, barbecued salmon filet that has become a Steveston favorite — a bowl of tasty chow mein, or fluffy stacks of pancakes for early rising parade-goers. Learn more about our classic food offerings.

Be sure to check out the full lineup of performers across three main stages, including headliner Barney Bentall and the Legendary Hearts! From family-friendly acts, roving performers and local bands, there’s something for everyone!

New for 2026 is the Sports on Courts activity area in the Salmon Run Youth Zone. Hosted by local organizations, kids, teens and families can try their hand at a variety of sports, test out skills and discover something new!
