Overview

Your newest Sunday ritual's here. 5 minutes after stepping off the SkyTrain at Main Street, join us on the water every Sunday afternoon for an Intro to Kayak lesson and guided tour. Take off from our accessible docks in Olympic Village, and get to see Vancouver from a whole new angle while you learn to paddle with our experienced instructor.

Basic paddling skills and water safety are some of the topics covered. Paddlers do not need to know how to swim, but must wear the supplied PFDs. No experience is necessary! Minimum age 12. Youth aged 12-18 should be accompanied by an adult. Programs include guided session with an instructor, access to equipment including a PFD and paddle, and access to the boats.

Afterwards, put your skills to the test with a complimentary 2 hour single kayak rental for yourself or a friend, and 10% off a Summer Kayak Pass within a week of finishing your program. Email info@dragonboatbc.ca, or visit dragonzone.ca/kayak for more info.
