THIS Gallery presents Signs of Things to Come, a solo exhibition by Vancouver artist Emily Cowan. Through meticulously detailed acrylic gouache paintings of houses awaiting redevelopment, Cowan explores housing, displacement, and Vancouver's changing neighbourhoods. Blending personal reflection with social commentary, the exhibition invites viewers to consider what is gained—and what is lost—as the city transforms.
