CBC Home Pitch

Come down to the CBC outdoor plaza at 700 Hamilton Street in Vancouver for the “CBC Home Pitch” – a pre-match hub for soccer supporters so they can gather to celebrate the tournament.

On special match days there is an incredible lineup of local B.C. artists, cultural performances and diverse food trucks. To honour the global spirit of the tournament, our rotation of performers and food vendors will mirror the countries playing on the pitch each day.

The plaza, which is just around the corner from BC Place, will feature interactive activities, including high-energy chant contests led by local B.C. soccer clubs and a face-painting station featuring the talented MJC Artistry. Complimentary water will be provided by Alkis all day to ensure fans stay hydrated! Visitors will also have a chance to enter to win CBC swag, test their skills by kicking a shot against their favourite CBC host, and catch live, on-location radio programming in a special plaza-level studio.
