About

The Suzhou Alley Women's Mural (SAWM) is a community-driven commemorative mural and storytelling project celebrating the contributions and legacies of women who helped shape Vancouver's Chinatown over the last century created by Elisa Yon, Janet Wang, Stella Zheng, Mengya Zhao, and Laurie Landry. To celebrate its unveiling this Spring, the project team will be offering a series of mural walks during Asian Heritage Month.

Discover the people, stories, and significance behind the murals in the Vancouver's Chinatown through the eyes of artists, curators, planners, scholars and historians from the community. Tours are offered in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Tours are limited to 15 people. Register early to save your spot.
