Murder is a Drag: An Immersive Murder Mystery Dinner

Wake the Dead is an immersive murder mystery dinner show – a one-of-a-kind Murder Mystery Dinner experience only available in Vancouver – with clues to collect and puzzles to solve. Can you solve the murder?

The Mystery: Wake the Dead is the second chapter in the wildly successful Murder is a Drag series by Vancouver Mysteries, this April 2025 show is hot on the tails of six shows of Murder is a Drag during Dine Out Vancouver Festival earlier this year. You don’t need to see the shows in any particular order – each chapter in the series is a separate murder mystery with a new story and new suspects.

Wake the Dead is a murder mystery set at a memorial service – please wear black out of respect for the recently deceased. But be warned, there WILL be a murder. Can you solve it? A few guests will also be included in the action with props and lines (optional- you can also choose to just watch the show).

The Dinner: Vancouver inside the Delta Hotels Vancouver Downtown Suites in collaboration with our friends at Stock & Supply restaurant. Tickets include a 2 course dinner put together by Chef Jones, whose dedication to local, seasonal ingredients create exceptional dining experiences. Duration: this experience lasts approximately 3.5 hours. The total show time is 90 minutes but the doors open 90 minutes before the show begins and there are photo opportunities with the cast after the show (plan to arrive before show time to order your dinner or get a role in the show). Doors open at 6:30PM and the show begins at 8PM.

Accessiblity: the venue for this event is the 2nd floor of the Delta Hotels by Marriott Vancouver Downtown Suites and has an elevator. To avoid stairs, please use the main hotel entrance at 438 Seymour Street. There are loud musical performances as well as quieter discussions, low lighting in the room and some puzzles require fine motor skills or ability to read fine print. If anyone in your party has concerns about the lighting, volume levels, vision or fine motor skills required please contact us.
