A Dog's Way in Vancouver

Released in theatres on January 11, A Dog’s Way Home has quickly found a snug home in viewers’ hearts. The story follows Bella, a homeless pitbull who wanders into the life of a young man called Lucas. He falls in love with the pup and smuggles her into his building; however, Animal Control soon separates the pair. Though Bella and Lucas find themselves 400 miles apart, the tenacious pitbull is determined to reunite with her owner – so she sets out on an epic journey home, touching the lives of various animals and people she meets along the way.

The movie is based on the book by bestselling author W. Bruce Cameron, who also wrote A Dog’s Purpose (released cinematically in 2018), and stars Bryce Dallas Howard and Ashely Judd. Filming took place in Vancouver and surrounding regions like Hope and Ladner.
