Enjoy 22 ha (55 acres) of gardens year around. In Spring, countless tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths provide an abundance of fragrance and colour. You will be wowed when you experience our Summer: The Rose Garden, Night Illuminations, and evening entertainment. Perennial and Dahlia borders start their stunning show in late summer. In Autumn the Japanese maples turn to russet, gold, and red. Be captivated by the Magic of Christmas complete with decorations, expansive lighting, traditional carollers, and festive brass. Top off the day with a ride on the Rose Carousel and or enjoy a meal at one of our restaurants. Named a National Historic Site of Canada in 2004, The Butchart Gardens have been in bloom for over 100 years. www.butchartgardens.com
