Overview
Cooper’s Park is one of the parks near False Creek. The park contains a playground and skate park, as well as plenty of open green space and colourful plantings. The area where the park is situated was the site of Sweeney Cooperage and Sawmill until 1981. Now locals enjoy the views from the park benches and in the summer months families spend the afternoons picnicking on the lush green grass overlooking Downtown Vancouver and Science World. Currently under renovations until Fall 2024.
