The site is the original location of early canning, fishing and boatbuilding activities, and features a collection of heritage buildings that tell the stories of the diverse community of people who have lived and worked here. Visitors enjoy scenic walks along the boardwalk, and guided tours, programs, events and activities held here throughout the year. Admission is free.
