Overview

Lighthouse Park, originally known as Point Atkinson, was founded in 1792. Captain George Vancouver, aboard the Discovery, discovered the area and named it accordingly. It spans approximately 75 hectares and is a nationally significant natural park located in West Vancouver. It boasts important natural and cultural resources and experiences high levels of visitation from both local residents and tourists.
