Bard on the Beach Shakespeare Festival is Western Canada's largest Shakespeare Festival and takes place in modern theatre tents against a spectacular ocean backdrop in Sen̓áḵw/Vanier Park in Vancouver.

On the BMO Mainstage, director Johnna Wright brings Much Ado About Nothing, packed with adventure, romance, and witty banter that plays in repertory with The Two Gentlemen of Verona, performed with a healthy hit of 80s nostalgia, directed by Dean Paul Gibson.

The Douglas Campbell Stage features The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] [again], directed by Mark Chavez and plays in repertory with a new Canadian work by Jessica B. Hill, The Dark Lady, directed by Moya O’Connell.
