Vancouver’s 13th annual post-Christmas, pre-NYE dance music tradition returns when the two-day Contact Winter Music Festival takes over the Vancouver Convention Centre (VCC) from December 27-28. Put on your sparkliest gear and get ready to groove to some of the world’s best EDM artists and DJs at Canada’s largest indoor music festival.

DJ Headliners

Santa Barbara native Sevens Lions (day one) and provocative Niaga Falls-born, multi-platinum electronic music producer Deadmau5 (day two) will co-headline the massive festival on separate nights.

Seven Lions (aka Jeff Montalvo) is known as a genre-defying record producer, instrumentalist, and remixer active since 2010, who was also a finalist for America’s Best DJ in 2017.

The notorious Deadmau5 (aka Joel Thomas Zimmerman) is famous for wearing his trademark giant rodent head and being one of the most in-demand DJs in the world.

Supporting performing acts on day one include Eli Brown, Netsky, Max Styler, Seb C, and Tsunami. On day two, James Hype, Armnhmr, Nostalgix, Joanna Magik, and Jaemo will all hit the stage.

The Vancouver Convention Centre’s high ceilings and spacious halls make it an ideal venue for EDM and dancing. Embrace the city’s vibrant community atmosphere while head-bobbing to some of the globe's finest DJs.

Located along the beautiful Vancouver Waterfront in Coal Harbour at the end of the famous Seawall path, the VCC overlooks a dramatic mountain backdrop to the north. It's this kind of scenery that makes the Pacific Northwest city such an appealing destination for artists, musicians, and other big acts to visit or tour.

Festival Food & Drink

All that dancing and grooving to the beat will require nourishment and energy in the form of food and drinks. Near the VCC, there are plenty of options to grab a snack or beverage. Try places like Cactus Club Cafe, Tap & Barrel, Heritage Asian Eatery, Mahoney’s Tavern, or Brass Fish Tavern, all within walking distance to the venue for something to help you refuel.

Tickets and weekend passes can be purchased through Ticketmaster.
