Overview

Lace up your running shoes and join The Endometriosis Network Canada for its annual Run to End Endo, taking place on May 23 at Stanley Park (650 Pipeline Rd). This community event invites walkers and runners of all ages to come together in support of those living with the chronic illness, endometriosis.

Everyone knows someone with endometriosis. Endometriosis, often called endo, affects two million Canadians, but many people don’t know much about it – some people have never even heard of it. People with endometriosis can suffer severe menstrual pain, chronic pelvic pain, and infertility. They often feel alone in dealing with their disease due to lack of awareness and understanding, or even dismissal of their symptoms by the people around them.

The Run to End Endo is all about community - you can expect to meet members of the endometriosis community, make new friends, and directly support vital programs offered by The Endometriosis Network Canada. The event embraces a non-competitive atmosphere, opting out of chip timing in favour of celebrating personal achievements. No matter your speed, the Run to End Endo is a great way to make a difference.
