Discounted Dine Out Vancouver Festival participation

Dine Out takes place each year beginning in the middle of January and showcases the destination’s restaurants and culinary talent. Restaurant Members may participate by designing a three-or-more-course menu for the festival. Registration fees are published on the website in the fall preceding the Festival. Members will receive a discount on their participation fee which is determined on an annual basis. Other Member categories may participate by hosting or contributing to festival events. In-market sales missions by invitation

Destination Vancouver’s sales teams lead in-market sales missions to key international markets. Members may participate by responding to the expression of interest requests sent by Destination Vancouver team members. Inclusion in sales missions is at the discretion of Destination Vancouver and usually requires an investment by the member to participate.

Enhanced partner marketing program

A new pilot program where members can leverage Destination Vancouver’s ongoing marketing efforts in key markets by running targeted Meta (FB/IG) ads to first and second-party audiences.

Ticketed marquee events

Accepted Answer

Destination Vancouver organizes a collection of ticketed networking events and celebrations (e.g. Holiday Luncheon, Nooner at the Nat) to help facilitate relationships between members and engage with Destination Vancouver Team Members. These events are such where the cost to hold the event is significant, may be unique among Canadian DMOs, include an expanded food and beverage program and are limited in capacity. Ticket prices vary by event.

Tourism economic outlook events

A member-only ticketed event in collaboration with the Conference Board of Canada. Unique to Destination Vancouver, this event happens in autumn and is a fundamental opportunity for members to help in their future business and marketing plans.

Destination Vancouver Official Map additional quantities

Accepted Answer

Destination Vancouver provides an annual limited supply of official city maps to select member categories. These maps are an essential resource for visitors, helping them navigate and explore the city. Members can place orders for these maps when Destination Vancouver announces availability. Additional quantities beyond the allocated amount can be purchased for a fee. Rates will vary annually depending on production costs.
