Overview

Make salve, drink tea and learn about local ecosystems surrounding the Museum and beyond.

For this special Earth Day workshop, participants will collectively make a pot of salve from locally harvested Lemon Balm. As the salve simmers, attendees will sample a variety of teas made from invasive plants and “weeds” that call the Lower Mainland home while learning about their histories and stories.

All materials will be provided, and each participant will be sent home with a tin of salve made in the workshop.

NOTE: This event is not suited for individuals who have or suspect they have thyroid troubles.
