rainbow crosswalk in all of Canada sits at Davie and Bute Streets.

Davie Village began as a safe space for 2SLGBTQ+ folks when private displays of homosexuality were still illegal. Now, it’s flourished into a vibrant, out and proud community, stretching along Davie Street between Burrard and Jervis Streets.

The rainbow crosswalk will lead you to the Jim Deva Plaza, named for the late activist and 2SLGBTQ+ champion.
