World Cup Events Calendar
To help visitors and locals discover what’s happening across the city, we’re building a World Cup Events Calendar showcasing World Cup-inspired events, experiences, and activations across the region. Local businesses are encouraged to get involved by planning engaging experiences and submitting them to be featured.
Event Criteria
- Events must take place between May 1st and July 15th.
- Events must be held in the Metro Vancouver area.
- Events must be open to the public and not restricted to private groups.
- Event photos must be 1920 x 1080 pixels in size and not include any text.
- Events must feature intentional programming, activations, or experiences specifically created to celebrate the World Cup or the sport of soccer. Simply renaming or lightly rebranding an existing event, tour, or product will not qualify.
- Events can be free or ticketed, but must adhere to FIFA World Cup 2026™ guidelines with proper permits and approvals obtained if necessary. Please review the Community Activation Guidelines and BC Tourism Playbook for more information.
- Events must adhere to all local health and safety regulations.
- Events will be qualified on a case-by-case basis, at the sole discretion of Destination Vancouver.

How to Submit Your Event
Once your event is confirmed and ready to share, submit it to our World Cup Events Calendar. The calendar will go live on May 1st, 2026. Events submitted earlier than May 1st will have increased opportunities for additional exposure, including potential features across Destination Vancouver’s social channels, blog content, and with Travel Trade and Media audiences.
Home Turf Toolkit
The Home Turf Toolkit is a shared visual identity system that all Vancouver businesses can use to promote their World Cup-related events, promotions and celebrations. Because FIFA intellectual property is highly regulated, this toolkit offers a flexible, compliant alternative for marketing your World Cup-related activations.
