Jem Garrard
Jem Garrard’s work spans genres. Her multifaceted portfolio as a writer and director encompasses television shows, made-for-TV movies, short films and documentaries that have been released worldwide.
Whether full-length feature or short vignette, Jem’s passion is bringing stories to life. She directed Disney’s sci-fi series Mech X4, SYFY’s Killer High, and season four of Netflix’s You Me Her. She has made music videos for Ringo Starr and Linkin Park. Recently, she wrapped the second season of Android Employed (airing in January 2019), a comedic sci-fi series that she created, wrote and directed. Jem has won five Leo Awards for her work, including best comedy screenplay for Android Employed. She is currently in development on her debut feature, a sci-fi thriller she plans to shoot in London.
