The party headquarters are at FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver in the East Village, with matches on screen, interactive games, food and drink, and live music. Arts and Culture World Cup Events
Snotty Nose Rez Kids with Indian City at FIFA Fan Festival™
- What: Two talented Indigenous musical groups take to the stage at FIFA Fan Festival™ Vancouver on June 21. First up is Indian City who use music as a common language between Indigenous and non-Indigenous folks. Hip hop duo Snotty Nose Rez Kids will be headlining that night, bringing their powerful storytelling to soccer fans.

Theatresports Improv: Totally Ref’d Up
- What: Everyone loves to hate on the ref, and it’s no different in The Improv Centre’s soccer-themed Theatresports. Improv actors will compete to score big on chuckle points while trying to avoid the refs handing out dreaded yellow or red cards. Boo the refs and cheer on the actors!

RISExSHINE Playhouse
- What: Former Whitecaps Captain Jay DeMerit is the host for RISExSHINE Playhouse, an all-day soccer party. Before the game, you can immerse yourself in football culture, learning from performance coaches and taking in work by artists inspired by the game. Later, the Playhouse turns into a 19+ gathering, where you can dance to DJ music, sip drinks from the bar and mingle with fellow soccer fans.

Richmond Celebrates Soccer
- What: Get to know other cities in Metro Vancouver during FIFA World Cup 2026™, like Richmond, which has over a month of programming called Richmond Celebrates Soccer. Play traditional Indigenous games at a community park, try scoring goals in a soccer zone at a local block party or do soccer-themed crafts at an outdoor viewing party.

Yaletown Kicks Off
- What: Yaletown is transforming into a lively neighbourhood-wide fan zone for the whole family. The first stop is a series of brightly coloured murals in Helmcken Plaza showing great moments in soccer history. The kids will love posing in front of a giant soccer net and cleats, scoring goals at mini soccer fields and checking out an official FIFA immersive installation at Bill Curtis Square. And when you just want to chill, head to pop-up patios at Earls Yaletown, Parlour and Yaletown Brewing for food, drink and plenty of good vibes.

Game Days at South Flats
- What: The community at South Flats in East Van will hang out together on game days. There’ll be a big screen for watching the matches, along with food trucks and a bar. On the weekends, the kids can play in a soccer cage and bouncy castle, and get their faces painted (with soccer balls, of course!).

Canyon Kick-Off
- What: As a nod to World Cup, you’ll see brightly coloured national flags and a huge soccer ball hanging from Capilano Suspension Bridge. Besides decorating the bridge, Capilano is going all-out soccer around the park with themed games and photo installations that will keep the kids busy.

And of course, make sure to slurp down fresh oysters after each goal (you might be downing a lot if it’s a high scoring match).

A must is the all-day viewing party on July 3 in Carrall St. Alley where the whole of Gastown will come out to have a great time.

- What: Get set for the ultimate fan experience at the Bay’Score, taking place at the Westin Bayshore’s Grand Ballroom. Or, take a stroll along the scenic Coal Harbour seawall in between matches.
