CBC's Musical Nooners

After a five-year hiatus, CBC’s Musical Nooners returns to the plaza as a free, family-friendly concert series that brings together community, culture, and live Canadian music in the heart of downtown. Hosted by local CBC personalities, Musical Nooners gives you the perfect midweek break filled with tunes, talent and fun times.

Over the years, CBC’s Musical Nooners has become a summer lunchtime destination for the downtown crowd attracting a diverse audience including downtown office workers on their lunch break, local residents, families, and strolling tourists. Taking place every Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., musicians are performing live on the outdoor stage for the gathered audience this summer from July 2 to August 20. Attendees can relax on the lawn and benches, enjoy the music, eat their lunch, and socialise with their friends and family.
