The St. Clair Vancouver is steeped in history, a heritage building with a nautical theme. This original 1911 hotel accommodated railway & ocean going passengers back to both Pacific & Atlantic destinations. Situated in the heart of downtown Vancouver on Richards Street at Dunsmuir Street, it is conveniently located near every amenity you may need during your stay in Vancouver; a short walk to beaches like famous English Bay Beach, a short stroll to historic Gastown, China Town, the upbeat Granville Street Club District, the stylish Robson Street Shopping District & fabled Stanley Park. We offer three floors of recently renovated, Safe, Clean, Affordable, Backpacker Style Private Rooms and Shared Dorms, with bathrooms and showers on each floor, and newly re-furbished hardwood floors throughout the building, for one of the most reasonable rates in Vancouver. Rooms are arranged in triple, double, twin, bunk, and dormitory styles to accommodate almost any group of travelers.
