Overview
Celebrated photographer Fred Herzog took some of the most iconic images of Vancouver’s Chinatown. This year, the Chinatown Storytelling Centre is hosting an exhibition with some of those photographs, telling the stories of the people and places behind these images from the 1950s and 60s.
This event, in partnership with the Vancouver Chinatown Foundation, celebrates the publication of a full-colour companion book to the exhibition: Vitality: Iconic Images, Hidden Stories.
Co-authors Carol Lee and Ramona Mar will share some of the stories behind Herzog’s iconic photographs. Moderated by Margaret Gallagher, host of CBC's North by Northwest.
